William RJP Brown is an experienced family law attorney in all matters related to marriage and domestic partnerships, including same-sex marriages; second marriages and senior marriages.  Attorney Brown is experienced at providing counsel and advice prior to entering into marriage as well as working with clients who are ending their relationships, be it solely financial or with minor children involved.

A Child Focused Law Practice:

Attorney Brown’s family law litigation practice is largely dedicated to the representation of minor children and their best interests. His experience working as a child advocate (guardian ad litem and/or attorney for the minor child) and Family Special Master puts him in the position of being able to objectively evaluate the facts and circumstances, to propose resolution and provide evidence that is fair to all parties and in the best interest of the children.

Review, analyze and recommend resolution of financial matters for divorce and Regional Family Trial Docket in Middletown. Works in partnership with mental health professionals with a focus on custodial issues negotiating and recommending resolution of custodial matters.

Performs child focused Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) ranging in scope from Parenting Access Mediation to Dual Discipline Custodial and Financial Mediation and Parenting Coordination.

Attorney Brown's purpose remains child focused across all aspects of his practice. Whether he is representing minor children as guardian ad litem, conducting custody mediation or serving a family as a Parenting Coordinator, he utilizes his years of litigation experience combined with ongoing training and continuing education in order to service the best interests of the children involved in these matters.
